Endowment Funds

The General Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 1985. Designated contributions are added to the fund's principal which is managed by an investment trustee. The profits of this fund are used solely for scholarships to Trinity School students and a Scholarship Committee awards the financial aid based on family need.

At Trinity, there are additional endowment accounts established by individuals, families or estates and whose profits are also used for financial aid. If you are interested in establishing such an account in your family name, please tell us and we will be happy to advise you of the process.

In the past 25 years, through the school year of 2010/11, over $194,000 has been distributed in financial aid to TLS students from these funds. Trinity Lutheran Church and School is grateful to the generous people who have established the endowments and to all contributors who ensure this financial assistance to our students.

If you wish to contribute to any of the endowment funds, please send your gift to Trinity Church office.

Trinity School is a nonprofit organization and your donation may be tax deductible. Consult your financial or tax advisor for federal and state tax guidelines and any other options that may benefit both TLC/S and you, the donor. Trinity’s non-profit Tax ID Number is 930479868. A receipt will be mailed to acknowledge your gift.

A number of corporations and businesses match employee gifts to nonprofit organizations. Consider accessing those monies for Trinity School. We will gladly provide information on your behalf.
