About the Band Program
The Trinity Lutheran Band Program offers no-fee participation, to 4th through 8th grade students. With strong support from administration and parents, the band is continually strives to create a viable experience for the student. Music from all cultures and styles are explored, with a focus on the American musical songbook. The Trinity Lutheran First Year Band and Concert Band, perform several times a year. Every other year the Concert Band becomes a marching band participating in the Junior Rose Festival Parade. The Band also has an individual performance program that allows the students to exhibit their skills at scheduled times throughout the school. Through fundraising projects, the future goal of the Program will be to raise money for instruments, music, private music instruction, workshops, and general operating costs. We intend to add a jazz band and pep band in the next two years.
